Lori McKenna Wins Grammy for Best Country Song

Congratulations to Lori McKenna for winning the Grammy for Best Country Song in the 59th Annual Grammy Awards! She single-handedly accepted the award, though it’s her second win in a ┬árow in the category. Last year, she received the award alongside two other writers for Little Big Town’s “Girl Crush.”

She received the award for “Humble and Kind,” which Tim McGraw recorded and turned into a country anthem.

Not only did she win a Grammy, but she was also nominated for Best Americana Album for her record The Bird & The Rifle and for Best American Roots Performance and Best American Roots Song for “Wreck You.”
